These terms cover your use of YouPage, a service that lets small businesses publish a one-page website.
You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for everything published from your account. One account, one business. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into it.
The content on your site is yours and stays yours. You must have the right to use every photo and every word you upload, and what you publish must be lawful, accurate about your business, and not something you would be embarrassed to have a customer read.
We will remove sites that break the law, impersonate someone else, or are used to mislead people. We would rather warn you first, and normally will.
The free plan is free. We do not put adverts on your site. We may set fair limits on storage or traffic if a site starts costing us significantly more than it should, and we will contact you before doing anything about it.
This is a one-off charge for connecting a domain you already own to your site. It is not a subscription and it does not include buying or renewing the domain itself — you do that with your registrar. If we cannot get your domain working, ask us within 30 days and we will refund you.
We work hard to keep sites up, but this is a free service and we do not offer a guaranteed uptime figure. We are not liable for business you might lose while the service is unavailable.
You can delete your site at any time from your dashboard, and we will remove your content. We can close an account that breaks these terms.
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us limit. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
This is a template written for a product that has not launched yet. Have a solicitor read it before you take real customers and real money.
